How the Standard CV Writing Service Works:
On receipt of your completed on or off line order and payment we send you an email confirming your order; this will be sent to the email address used for making an on line payment or as stated to us in an offline order. This email contains a link to a private section of our website containing a questionnaire and instructions on how to send us documents useful in constructing your new CV. The information on your completed questionnaire is used to assign an appropriate sector specific specialist to write your CV and the information provided and any documents submitted are what are used to construct your new CV. (nb if you prefer to work offline we can send you the questionnaire by post or via email).
It is quite common for the Standard Package to be purchased for someone other than the person ordering; the confirmation email asks if the Service has been ordered for another person and if so requests the name and email address of the person for which a new CV will be constructed; we then make direct contact with this person.
The questionnaire is in 3 sections and will take approx 1 hour to complete. The sections can be completed separately at any time at your convenience; they do not have to be completed or uploaded togeteher. The questionnaire explores your career history, skills acquired, personal style and your aspirations in seeking a new role. When completed it should be uploaded, emailed or posted to your consultant. Your consultant may contact you to ensure a complete understanding of your skill sets, achievements, personality etc or to clarify answers in your questionnaire; this communication is usually by email.
Your CV will then be constructed and the first draft despatched to you normally within 2 days. It will be highly optimised for visibility amongst recruiters advertising on line and utilising candidate data bases from job boards. You should take some time to review it and if possible ask someone who knows you well to also review it. Any comments or concerns you may have should be emailed to your consultant who will advise whether any amendments are required. Should a revision be necessary, this will be done immediately and despatched to you as a second draft. This process will continue until you are entirely satisfied with every aspect of your new CV and you are confident that the image it presents of you is accurate and portrays exactly what you wish to project to prospective employers..
Electronic versions will be emailed to you in a format suitable for making on-line applications; you may use these as often as required and print from them as required. A hard copy of your CV on Conqueror white correspondence paper will be sent to you by post on request and you may use and copy this as required. Should you at any time in the future order an Update of your CV then the electronic version as originally supplied to you should be used as the basis for the update. Please note that we do not retain files created on behalf of clients unless they specifically ask us to do so (see Privacy Policy)
The Standard CV is perfect for constructing a CV for personnel in many sectors and at most levels, some examples are: sales, call-centre, marketing, administration and office, junior management, hotel, catering and leisure, construction, oil and gas, training, logistics / supply chain, healthcare & NHS (not for NHS application forms), retail, local Government, charities, airline & travel industry, teachers, business management and many others. Should you find after placing your order that a different package would be more suitable you can upgrade and the cost of the Standard CV will be deducted from the cost of your new order.
