How the Premium CV Writing Service Works:

On receipt of your completed on or off line order and payment we send you an email confirming your order; this will be sent to the email address used for making an on line payment or as stated to us in an offline order. This email asks you to select the sector in which you work or wish to work and from your selection we assign a specialist, sector- specific CV Writer to undertake your order and arrange the first telephone discussion with your him / her.

It is quite common for the Premium Package to be purchased for someone other than the person ordering; the confirmation email asks if the Service has been ordered for another person and if so requests the name and email address of the person for which a new CV will be constructed; we then make direct contact with this person.

During the first telephone discussion, your CV Writer will explore in-depth your skills and experience, achievements, management style, motivations, preferred work culture and your objectives in seeking a new role. Particular emphasis will be placed on those attributes essential for the type of role sought whether they be soft skills, wide ranging experience, leadership credentials, strategic vision or hard technical capability. Increasingly change management ability, performance and effective use of resources are competencies sought at a wide range of levels by many organisations and if appropriate to your circumstances, these will be explored with you. Your CV Writer will then outline the key messages likely to be the "building blocks" of your new CV and discuss these with you, modifying them as necessary until you are comfortable that they reflect the "real you".

As well as collecting the above data, your CV Writer will be happy to answer any more general questions you may have on any aspect of searching for new work. We prefer to limit telephone interviews to a maximum of about an hour and if your circumstances dictate that more time is required then a second / further telephone interview will be arranged.

Your CV (or application form) will then be constructed and the first draft despatched to you normally within 1 day. It will be optimised to ensure high visibility amongst recruiters when it is used to make on line applications and when submitted to job-board data bases. You should take some time to review your new CV and if possible ask someone who knows you well to also review it. Any comments or concerns you may have should be discussed with your CV Writer when you will jointly decide whether any amendments are required. Should a revision be necessary, this will be done immediately and despatched to you as a second draft. This process will continue until you are entirely satisfied with every aspect of your new CV and you are confident that the image it presents of you is accurate and portrays exactly what you wish to project to prospective employers.

Electronic versions will be emailed to you in a format suitable for making on-line applications; you may use these as often as required and print from them as required. A hard copy of your CV (on Conqueror white correspondence paper) will be sent to you by post on request and you may copy or use this as required.  Should you, at any time in the future order an Update of your CV then the electronic version as originally supplied to you should be used as the basis for the update. Please note that we do not retain files created on behalf of clients unless they specifically ask us to do so (see Privacy Policy)
